Top rated TV shows returning in 2017

1. Game of thrones

Game of thrones is by far the most watched and the highest rated TV show. It has the total ratings of 9.5/10 on imdb.Com

It’s returning for its season 7 later this year. We are very excited and very curious to see what Hbo has in store for us this year on the show.

It is filmed at Titanic Studios in Belfast, on location in the United Kingdom, and in Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, Spain, and the United States. The series premiered on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and its sixth season ended on June 26, 2016. The series was renewed for a seventh season, scheduled to premiere in mid-2017 with seven episodes. The series will conclude with its eighth season in 2018.



2. Stranger things

Stranger things is one of the new TV shows that premiered in 2016 and blew us away. It’s new, it’s great, it’s exciting, and we literally cannot wait to see what happens next. Netflix will have great things for the second season of the show, that we can be sure of. It has the total ratings of 9/10 on

The series is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, and is a homage to 1980s pop culture, inspired and aesthetically informed by the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Stephen King, Robert Zemeckis, and George Lucas, among others.

The show was released on Netflix on July 15, 2016. It received critical acclaim for its characterization, pacing, atmosphere, acting, soundtrack, directing, writing, and homages to 1980s genre films. On August 31, 2016, Netflix renewed the series for a second season of nine episodes, to be released in 2017.



3. House of cards

This is another Netflix series that we all love and can’t wait to see return. It’s returning for its fifth season and we are ready to see what is coming. It has a total ratings of 9/10.

House of Cards is an American political dramaweb television series created by Beau Willimon. House of Cards was renewed for a fourth season that premiered on March 4, 2016. In January 2016, Netflix announced that the show had been renewed for a fifth season, due for release in 2017, and that Willimon would step down as showrunner after the fourth season. Willimon has stated that plans for the show’s future are decided after each season.

4. This is us

This Is Us is an American television comedy-drama series created by Dan Fogelman that premiered on NBC on September 20, 2016. It has a total ratings of 8.9/10

On September 27, 2016, NBC picked up the series for a full season of 18 episodes.[2] In January 2017, NBC renewed the series through its third season, for a total of 36 episodes, 18 per season.

5. Better call Saul

Did you see breaking bad? Did you love it, yes or yes?  Well this show is a spin-off prequel to breaking bad and it’s awesome. It has the total ratings of 8.7/10

The first season, which premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015, consists of 10 episodes. The show’s 10-episode second season premiered on February 15, 2016. The series has been renewed for a 10-episode third season, which will premiere on April 10, 2017.

6. Shameless

For those of us that have been following shameless, we know that this show has been consistently dramatic and comedic since that start of the show up till the last season, it’s great show to watch. It has the total ratings of 8.7/10
 Shameless is an American comedy-drama television series which airs on Showtime. This remake of the British series is set in Chicago, although filmed in Los Angeles, with the exterior scenes shot in Chicago.

7. Suits 

One of the best show on usa network and one of the most viewed show. Suits really deserves all the hype, because you can’t be disappointed. It has a great plot and the actors are awesome. It has the total ratings of 8.7 

It’s returning for the completion of its season 6 this January

8. Prison break

This show is one of a kind, we all love it and now it’s returning and we so cannot wait to see what Fox has planned for this shows reboot, it has the total ratings of 8.5 
The fifth season of Prison Break is an upcoming limited event television series and continuation of the original series created by Paul Scheuring that aired on Fox from 2005 to 2009. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Adelstein/Parouse Productions and Original Film.
9. Narcos 

Narcos is an American crime web television series created and produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro. Season 1, comprising 10 episodes, originally aired on August 28, 2015, as a Netflix exclusive.
The series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on September 2, 2016 with 10 episodes. On September 6, 2016, Netflix renewed the series for a third and fourth season, which will air in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The show has the total ratings of 8.9/10

10. Homeland

This show has been around for quite some time now, they went on a little break but now they are back and we hope the show’s season 6 return  will be great. It has the total ratings of 8.4/10

The sixth season of the American television drama series Homeland premiered on January 15, 2017, on Showtime, and will consist of 12 episodes. The series is loosely based on the Israeli television series Hatufim (English: Prisoners of War) created by Gideon Raff and is developed for American television by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.
