10 most anticipated movies of 2017

So many great movies were released in 2016 and we saw most of the amazing movies. Some of the great movies of 2016 are;

Now here comes 2017 and we have some movies in mind. Let’s get right into it….

1. RESIDENT EVIL: FINAL CHAPTER 

The film will star Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, and Iain Glen. In the film, Alice and her friends are betrayed by Albert Wesker, who gathers the entire forces of Umbrella into one final strike against the apocalypse survivors.

It was released on December 23, 2016 in Japan and is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2017 in the United States in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

 

2. SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker tries to balance being the hero Spider-Man with his high school life. The film is directed by Jon Watts, with a screenplay by Jonathan M. Goldstein & John Francis Daley and Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017 in the United States in 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D. A sequel is scheduled to be released on July 5, 2019.

 

3. WONDER WOMAN 

In Wonder Woman, after American pilot Steve Trevor crashes on the island of Themyscira and tells Diana Prince about a world war that is happening, Diana leaves her home to try to stop the war and becomes Wonder Woman. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns and Patty Jenkins, from a story by Heinberg and Zack Snyder, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui and David Thewlis.

Woman is scheduled to be released on June 2, 2017, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

4. THOR: RAGNAROK

In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor must defeat the Hulk in a gladiatorial duel in time to save Asgard from Hela and the coming Ragnarök. The film is directed by Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Eric Pearson, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to be released on November 3, 2017, in IMAX.

 

5. JUSTICE LEAGUE 

In Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team consisting of The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and the newly resurrected Superman to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, from a story by Snyder and Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.

 

6. STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII

Star Wars: Episode VIII is an upcoming American epic space opera film written and directed by Rian Johnson. It will be the second installment in the Star Wars sequel trilogy following Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). The film is produced by Lucasfilm and distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis in returning roles.
Episode VIII is scheduled to be released on December 15, 2017. A sequel, Episode IX, is scheduled for a 2019 release.

7. LOGAN

In the near future, an aging Wolverine and Professor X must protect a young female clone of Wolverine from an evil organization led by Nathanial Essex. The film takes inspiration from “Old Man Logan” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, which follows a past-his-prime Logan undertaking a final adventure in the post-apocalyptic future. The film is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Green and Scott Frank, from a story by David James Kelly and Mangold.
Logan is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2017 in the United States in IMAX formats.

 

8. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL.2

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos as they help Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars an ensemble cast featuring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017, in 3D and IMAX 3D.

 

9. GHOST IN THE SHELL 

Ghost in the Shell is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Jonathan Herman and Jamie Moss, based on the Japanese mangaof the same name by Masamune Shirow. Sanders dedicated the upcoming film to Buried director Rodrigo Cortés. The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. It will be released on March 31, 2017, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.

10. TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT

Transformers: The Last Knight is an upcoming 2017 American science fiction-action film based on the Transformers toy line. It is the fifth installment of the live-action Transformers film series and a direct sequel to 2014’s Transformers: Age of Extinction. The film is directed by Michael Bay, with Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci reprising their roles from Age of Extinction, alongside Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro from the first three films.
The film is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2017.
