TRENDSEXPRESS CUISINE: VEGGIE RICE AND SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

onions

scotch bonnet

chilli/capsicum
 
                      Chilli and Scotch bonnet

beef
chicken breast

seasoning
mixed veggies

METHOD:

1. Parboil the rice and strain.

2. Cook rice on low heat, add curry and mixed veggies. cover until it attains a soft texture.

3. Cook the chicken breast together with the beef, add spices of your choice and keep the chicken stock (liquid produced by the simmering raw ingredients and the meat) because you’ll need it for the sauce.

4. Blend scotch bonnet, Tomato, Chili and Onion set aside.

5. For the sauce; in a pot on medium heat add the blended onion chilli etc…Cook until water drains add oil and fry a bit.

6. Add the chicken stock and bring to boil, and then add seasoning, garlic and other desired spices.

7. Cut chilli into chunks, beef and chicken breast and onion ring and add spices.
 

  
                                                             SAUCE 

8. Cover and allow it to cook.

9. Mildly fry an egg as garnish.
FOOD IS READY

Appetizer: Watermelon cut into chunks and sliced strawberries to wash it down……..
