Akinyemi Timileyin of Trendsexpress recently had an interview with beauty queen  Ahanotu Chinwendu. She was recently crowned Miss Kwara Int’l Culture’15 and in this exclusive interview with her, she elucidated on a number of things about herself, her career, her plans for the future among other things. Enjoy!

T.E – Congratulations on being crowned Miss Kwara Int’l Culture 2015. Please we would love to know who Ahanotu Chinwendu is. Do tell us about yourself?

JENNY – Thank you very much. I am miss Ahanotu Chinwendu Jennifer, a final year student of the University of Ilorin; studying linguistics. I am from a family of five, 3 siblings including dad and mum. I’m the last child. I love eating, going out, having fun, gisting and shopping.
T.E – Where is home at the moment? Where are you based?
JENNY – Nigeria; based in Lagos.
T.E – You’re from what state?
JENNY – I am from Imo state.
T.E – What does your personal life on a daily basis entail?
JENNY – Going to school, hanging out with friends, surfing the Web and sometimes being alone.
T.E – What and who motivated you to contest for the Miss Kwara pageantry contest?
JENNY – My family and friends. Modeling is part of my lifestyle which I’ve got passion for.

T.E – Knowing the nature of women, you must be an object of envy or alternatively a role model to the female folks. How well do other ladies relate with you?
JENNY – Being an object of envy is inevitable, it must happen. I have got high regards for myself and people, so I don’t expect less from anyone and I relate well with people. What I have to face and work on is myself. I’m always ready to learn to become a better person.
T.E – Which do you keep more as friends, the ladies or the guys and please tell us why?
JENNY – Guys are guys except for those that don’t want to learn. I have them more as friends because most of them around me have got listening ears. They relate well and way better than some girls. Part of my worst memories have been with girls though. All we do is compete with each other, with that; envy sets in.

T.E – With your striking beauty, would it be fair to say many men will be intimidated to approach you?
JENNY – Yes, because some believe they don’t have all it takes to have me around. As far as you’ve got something reasonable and not otherwise to relate with me, we are good!
T.E – What other skills or talents do you have? Is there any you’re putting into good use?
JENNY – My talent is acting, it tells from the way I talk and act towards people and things. My facial expression tells it all. I have had that love for acting way back from my childhood days, acted lead roles in primary school. Spending 5 mins. will bring out the Genevieve, Omotola and Rita Dominic spirit in me *laughs*. I don’t have any skill but I’m a good business woman! *smiles*
